My first adventure being Mrs. Schaeffer. We went to Washington,DC from Virginia beach. My husband drove 2.5 hrs to Franconia-Springfield Metro Station to Farragut West Station, DC for 45 minutes. It was like 8 train stations before we reached to DC, an 8 minutes walk to the Philippine Embassy DC. We stayed at the Beacon Hotel just across to the Philippine Embassy
. It was short visit but it was fun strolling around DC. It’s just a walking distance to the Washington Monument & White House. We took an uber to the Arlington Cemetery where my husband’s mom’s grave is located.
